How the System Works
Trusty Tradesman is the first directory of it's kind. Most other directories out there will go and add every business they can find, but not have any real connection with them at all. It just allows them to promote millions of advertisers.
We are a bit different. To get into Trusty Tradesman you have to apply and pass our signup test. Each tradesman has to supply: His ABN or equivalent number
His licence number if required in his industry
Two references of recently completed work.
Our team then rings their references to check up on them, checks their licence numbers match and give them an initial ranking. Once they are active in the system, then it is your turn to determine if YOU think they are trusty. The TRUSTYRank system allows you to rank any tradesman you have enquired with through our site. You get to rate him in five key service areas: Service
On time
Cost
Cleanliness
Quality
Your vote is added to any other votes the tradesman has received and his rank is calculated. We do check up on rankings continuously and have a unique reporting system that will flag anything that looks dodgy.
